To fully understand the major reasons why we could lose our brain power, we have to first understand the meaning of it. It is the ability or capacity to perform or act effectively and strength or force exerted or capable of being exerted. If you begin experiencing brain power loss, it is going to make any accelerated learning attempts difficult.

Research indicates that certain disorders, such as depression, excessive anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, emotional injury, dementia, and other emotional and personality ailments, can adversely impact brain power. In addition, being under excessive amounts of stress on a regular basis can make your everyday tasks much more difficult. So, if a deteriorating memory is linked to psychological causes, it stands to reason that people should engage in activities that will lower the level of stress, such as sleeping more, meditating, performing yoga, taking time for themselves, undergoing hypnosis, and other anxiety-reducing activities. Stress has an impact on your capacity for accelerated learning.

Biological has something to do with the science of the normal functions and phenomena of living things. Factors such as aging, chemical imbalance, vitamin deficiency, smoking, alcoholism, major operation, drug abuse, post partum depression and menopause have great degree of impact to the function of our memory. If the cause of our poor memory is physiological in nature, then our goal is to take in vitamins and minerals for memory improvement, proper diet and if needed, prescription drugs. In all honesty it is not necessary to spend money on any kind of stimulant to increase any accelerated learning attempts.

Behavioral Factors: behavioral is related to environmental and methodological factors. If we are maintaining a lifestyle lacking in self and memory improvement activities and does not stretch our brain power to the limits then our memory will cease to function to its optimum capacity. Reading; sports activities; involving in the arts and science like painting, cooking, music, dancing, singing, writing; involvement in support groups or attending self-improvement activities would empower our minds and increase our performance as an individual, employee or student.

The human brain has the capacity to store millions and millions of pieces of information. After properly assessing the cause of our poor memory, we must take swift and proper action to be fully charged again and reap the benefits of our brain power.
