Warning, Signs, And Stimulus Of Anxiety Attacks

By Nathan Birnbaum

An anxiousness attack is a short period of overpowering worry that comes on with no warning and for no sane reason. An anxiety attack can be a one-time event, but most often is a continuing problem. Those who experience regular stress attacks ( 2 or more anxiety attacks a month ) should go to a doctor. It is extremely likely that those that experience that many panic attacks have a nervousness or panic disorder. An anxiety episode is also often called a panic attack.

Regular panic attacks can stop the individual that experiences them from living a standard, ecstatic life. Anybody of any adult age, from both sexes, and of all races and economic backgrounds can have an agitation attack.

Doctors and caregivers don't know for sure what brings on an anxiety episode. But research has proven that there are some medical issues and medications that might cause an anxiety attack. Anxiety attack triggers include withdrawing from alcohol or illegal drugs, a fear of having another anxiety episode, or heredity reasons.

An hysteria attack can bring on feelings of loneliness and a feeling of being out-of-touch with other people. There are more emotional and physical symptoms associated with an anxiety attack, but the main symptom is extraordinary fear. Some of the physical symptoms that may show up with an anxiety attack can feel just like the indications of a serious health problem, like a heart attack.

The emotional and physical signs and symptoms of an anxiety episode barely last more than half an hour. The most intense evidence of a panic attack usually peak within 10 mins. There have been a few rare cases where symptoms of an anxiety attack have lasted for hours.

Even though the emotional and physical signs and signs of an anxiety attack might last only mins, the psychological symptoms can last much longer.

Those who experience panic attacks never know when an anxiety attack will hit them. An individual may have an anxiety episode once per week. Or a person could have a sequence of nervous attacks followed by months and months of no nervous attacks.

This uncertainty joined with the particular emotional and physical symptoms of an anxiety episode makes life very challenging for people that have panic attacks. Some folk become so fearful of an anxiety episode coming at a tasteless moment that they are frightened to leave their homes. This fear is commonly called agoraphobia.

The literal definition of agoraphobia is a fear of open spaces. This definition is commonly fooling and confusing, particularly when used in reference to anxiety attacks. People experience anxiety attacks in all scenarios and statistically very few experience anxiety attacks in open spaces.

Agoraphobia often begins when an individual experiences a panic attack in a specific situation. Even after a diagnosis is created and treatment begins, the person often convinces him or herself that the situation that led to an out-of-the-blue anxiety episode will cause countless future anxiety attacks. So, naturally, the person avoids that situation.

Anxiety attack causing agoraphobia is two times more common in ladies than men. Well-known American stars who have admitted to experiencing agoraphobia related panic attacks include Kim Basinger and Barbara Streisand.
